Cisco AIR-AP1131AG-E-K9 AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 dead upon re-estabilished powerline
I noticed a mass death of MANY AIR-AP1131AG-E-K9 AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 Cisco access point after serving online for a long period (5 or 6 years). They simply do not power up anymore using legacy PoE adapter AIR-PWRINJ3 or legacy power supply (46 volts). Some of them still powers up using AIR-PWRINJ4 (56 volts). It seems that the problem is due to a failure of an electrolitic condenser of the onboard switching power supply. |

Enabling extended Cisco-AVPair in AP access requests
(config)# radius-server vsa send authentication This command enables sending of the following information: Cisco-AVPair = "ssid=eduroam" WISPr-Location-Name = "Location Unspecified " WISPr-Location-ID = "isocc=IT,cc=39,ac=32 ,network=eduroam" The same also works for accounting: (config)# radius-server vsa send accounting Tested on Aironet 1142 |
